Emir of Kuwait passed away

According to the international group Tasnim news agency, Kuwait’s official news agency (KUNA) reported that Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, died today Saturday at the age of 86 due to the deterioration of his condition in the hospital.

Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was elected as the Emir of Kuwait on September 29, 2020. On October 7 of the same year, he chose “Mashal Al-Ahmad” as his crown prince.

The crown prince of Kuwait (60 years old) is the half-brother of the current Emir of the country. He studied in Kuwait and at Hendon Military College in England and was the vice-chief of the Kuwaiti National Guard.
