Foreign Policy Group of Fars News Agency: Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Bagheri, went to Tokyo today (Monday, December 27) to meet and talk with Japanese officials.
In this trip, which was done at the invitation of his Japanese counterpart, he will meet with the Japanese Foreign Minister, Yoko Kamikawa, as well as the senior political deputy of the Japanese Foreign Minister, Funakoshi, and discuss bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
It seems that the current situation in Gaza is one of the topics of Ali Bagheri’s talks with the Japanese authorities. In the meeting between Amir Abdullahian and his Japanese counterpart in Geneva on Wednesday, December 22nd, the Japanese foreign minister called for increasing Iran’s efforts to control the situation in the region. Bagheri will discuss other topics with Japanese officials. October was the year that Hossein Amirabdollahian, who had a trip to Japan in the middle of August, announced Japan’s proposed plan for the resumption of JCPOA negotiations in an interview with Kyodo news agency.
