The text of the free trade agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union was approved by Iran and the five member states of the Eurasian Economic Union after intense negotiations, and it is expected to be signed in the near future. to be signed on the sidelines of the Union Summit in St. Petersburg, Russia.

According to this agreement, more than 87% of commercial goods between Iran and the member states of the Union are exempted from customs duties. A huge increase will occur in Iran’s trade with the countries of the Eurasian Union.

It is expected that the implementation of the free trade agreement with the Eurasian Union will rapidly increase Iran’s trade volume with the member countries of the union, and some believe that this agreement will increase Iran’s trade volume. And it will increase union membership to $40 billion a year.
