According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, an official of the World Health Organization denied the claim of the Israeli regime about the use of hospitals as military bases by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas.
Richard Pieperkorn, the representative of the World Health Organization in Gaza today, in response to a reporter’s question about the claim made by Israel, said: “We have not seen anything like this in the field during our mission.”
This WHO official further said that the organization is not in a position to comment on how hospitals are used. “The role of the World Health Organization is to monitor, analyze and report,” Piperkorn said. He clarified: Yesterday, this hospital was the only hospital in northern Gaza that was able to provide surgical services to patients, and the hospital was full of patients who needed emergency services.
