According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, the Organization of Palestinian Prisoners and Detainees announced that since the Al-Aqsa storm operation on the 7th of October, Israeli occupying forces have detained 4695 people in the West Bank.
This organization, publishing a statement on Sunday, emphasized that this statistic includes Palestinians who are in their homes and at military checkpoints, as well as people who were detained by the Israeli military under pressure. The statement added that the Israeli occupying forces continue to carry out widespread acts of violence, brutal attacks, field interrogations and threats against prisoners and their families.

Furthermore, there have been reports of vandalism and destruction of Palestinian civilian homes and confiscation of their property. The European-Mediterranean Human Rights Watch also announced earlier in a statement that the Israeli regime has captured more than 8,000 Palestinians, including about 1,200 to 1,400 people from the Gaza Strip, since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa storm operation.
The “Al-Khalij Online” website, publishing the said statement, wrote that this active human rights center calls for the formation of an international team to visit the prisons where the Israelis keep Palestinian detainees.

In this statement, it is emphasized that Tel Aviv has greatly intensified the administrative detention of Palestinians and has increased the scope of inhumane behavior against detainees and has not conducted an investigation regarding the torture and death of Palestinians during detention.
