According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, the Yediot Aharanot news site announced the discovery of the bodies of 5 Israeli soldiers who were said to have been captured by Hamas in one of the Hamas tunnels in Gaza.
Aharonot claimed that the Israeli army, during one of its operations, found documents from a network of Hamas tunnels and the bodies of 5 soldiers of this regime named “Eden Zakharia”, “Elia Toledano”, Lt. “Ziv Dado”, Sgt. Ron Shermer and Corporal Nick Byers have been discovered and recovered.
The death of all 5 Israeli prisoners was announced earlier this month.
The Israeli army says that it has returned the bodies of these people to Israel.
According to the Israeli army, this tunnel was discovered after the army operation in Jabalia in Gaza and contained a Hamas headquarters that has now been destroyed.
