Lukashenko’s assessment of Russia’s nuclear weapons status

According to the report of the international group of Fars news agency, “Alexander Lukashenko”, the president of Belarus, emphasized that the Russian tactical nuclear weapons deployed on the territory of his country are “in their proper place and in good condition”.
According to “Tass” news agency, Lukashenko emphasized in a speech: “Nuclear warheads were handed over a long time ago. I had previously announced the completion date for their delivery and I think it was September or early October. Everything is in its proper place and in good condition.”
Lukashenko also said that military personnel of the Belarusian army are conducting regular training and maneuvers every day.
Moscow has previously provided Minsk with Iskander tactical missiles, which are capable of carrying nuclear warheads, and has helped the country in its program to re-equip its fighters to carry special warheads.
Pilots and personnel of the missile units of the Belarusian army are trained on Russian soil. On June 16 (June 26), Putin announced that the first shipment of Russian nuclear warheads has been delivered to Belarus, and the process of delivering all of these warheads will be completed by the end of this year. On June 23, Lukashenko said that a significant part of these warheads are in his country.
