Infectious diseases are spreading rapidly in overcrowded shelters.” These are the latest warnings of the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and the head of the organization’s relief department, Martin Griffiths, regarding the public health situation of the people of Gaza.
