According to Fars News Agency International Group, Martin Griffiths, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations and head of the relief department of this organization, condemned the Israeli regime’s attack on the aid convoy to Gaza.
Griffiths, in response to Israel’s attack on an aid convoy traveling on an authorized route, said attacking “humanitarian workers is illegal.”
The Israeli army on Thursday attacked a UN convoy that was returning after delivering aid to the northern Gaza Strip.
UN officials said that no one was injured in the attack. No one was injured, but this incident shows the many challenges that Israel creates in providing aid to the war-torn Palestinians.
Thomas White, head of UNRWA in Gaza, said: “Israeli soldiers fired at an aid convoy returning from northern Gaza through a road designated by the Israeli army.”

He stated that one of the vehicles of this convoy was damaged and said: “Employees of the relief department should never be targeted.”
