According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Ima Ali Rahmon, the president of Tajikistan, while emphasizing the security of his country’s borders with Afghanistan, said that 75 security checkpoints have been built in the last year on the common borders.
In August of this year, he announced in an announcement that checkpoints with modern equipment have been put into operation in Badakhshan, Marghab, Ashkashim, Roshan, Farkhor, Shamsuddin Shahin and five Khatlan regions.
Ima Ali Rahman also emphasized during his trip to the autonomous region of “Gorno” in Badakhshan near Afghanistan: border guards as a reliable shield should protect the borders of Tajikistan against all new threats and dangers, especially drug trafficking and transnational crimes.
However, the Taliban government has repeatedly emphasized that Afghanistan is safe and Nobody’s country is threatened.
