According to the report of the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Mommataz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, stated that the contacts and negotiations with the Taliban authorities regarding issues related to borders and security continue. She added that Pakistan once again wants peace for Afghanistan. Prosperity and stability wish for this country to become a trade and energy connector for the region. Baloch said: Pakistan is still committed to negotiations and interaction with Afghanistan.
« Last week, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated in response to Islamabad’s accusations that Kabul supports militants against Pakistan: We will not allow anyone to use Afghanistan’s soil against another country and have a hideout.
In a conversation with “Afghanistan National Radio”, Mujahid emphasized that instead of media war, Pakistan should share its documents and information with Kabul.
