According to the report of Fars International News Agency, “Vasily Nebenzia”, Russia’s representative to the United Nations, said during the Security Council meeting on Sunday morning that Russian forces do not target civilians in the war in Ukraine.
Nebenzia described the attack of Ukrainian forces on the “Belgorod” region as a reckless and deliberate terrorist attack in this meeting, which was held on the topic of world peace and security.
According to “Sputnik” news agency, he stated that Russia was surprised by the silence of the UN Secretary General about this attack on Ukraine and said: “The more threats Kiev makes to Russia, the more strongly Moscow will respond.”
This Russian diplomat further explained: “The bombing of cities outside the war zone is a confirmation of the brutality of the Zelenskyi regime, and we will punish all those who organized and carried out the terrorist attack in Belgorod.”
