However, Trump has maintained his innocence, saying he did not participate in the January riots, and accusing those suing him of trying to interfere in the presidential election. The Colorado State Republican Party has also protested against the decision to remove Trump and stated that it will transfer the relevant case to the United States Supreme Court for further consideration.
