Putin said: “We will consider the readiness of many other countries and about 30 countries of the world to join the JCPOA in any possible way in the multilateral work agenda of the BRICS group, and to realize this work, we will actively work on a model We will work to attract new partner countries in BRICS.”
He pointed out that Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Ethiopia have joined the BRICS group as new full members, and reminded: Russia has assumed the presidency of BRICS since January 1, and the joining of these countries to this association convincingly shows the growing power of BRICS and its increasing role in the process of the international situation.
Putin added: BRICS members welcome the idea of attracting more supporters and like-minded people – countries that share the same basic principles and underlying activities.
