Fars News Agency International Group; “Cancer patients in Gaza cannot survive without access to medicine,” Palestinian medical sources said on Monday, referring to the condition of the only cancer treatment hospital in Gaza, which stopped operating after the attacks of the Zionist regime.
The head of Al-Sadaqah Hospital, Dr. Sobhi Sekik, said on Monday, “10,000 cancer patients in Gaza face inhumane conditions and are deprived of the necessary medicines.”
At the end of October, the Ministry of Health of Gaza announced that this hospital had to stop providing services due to severe destruction after the massive Israeli bombardment. Dr. Sobhi said, “Israel wants to take everyone’s breath away in Gaza, and for this reason it bombed Al-Sadaqa Hospital in Turkey.”
According to the latest assessments of the World Health Organization, 21 hospitals in Gaza are completely out of business; 13 hospitals are partially efficient and two hospitals operate with minimum efficiency.
The director of Al-Sadaqa hospital in Gaza asked the countries of the world to help restart it and said that this hospital is “the only refuge for thousands of cancer patients in this region”.
