According to the foreign policy group of Fars news agency, Josep Burrell reacted to today’s terrorist act in Kerman. On January 13, in a phone call with Hossein Amirabdollahian, he strongly condemned the terrorist act in Kerman.
Borrell, in this call, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims as well as the government and nation of Iran, and wished for the recovery of the injured.
Following two terrorist explosions this afternoon (January 13), 103 people were martyred and 211 people were injured in Gulzar Shahada of Kerman city.
In this conversation, the latest developments in the region, including Gaza, were also discussed. He reacted to today’s terrorist act in Kerman and announced: “The European Union condemns today’s bombing in the city of Kerman in Iran in the strongest tone and expresses its solidarity with the people of Iran. This terrorist act has caused shocking deaths and injuries of civilians. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families. Perpetrators should be held accountable”.
