According to this news agency, Al-Adeed Air Base is the largest US base in West Asia and is located in the desert area southwest of Doha. The Air Force of Qatar and the United Kingdom also use this base.
This base plays a central role in American air operations in Afghanistan and West Asia and can accommodate up to 10,000 soldiers. And it is considered the “largest US military facility in the Middle East”. The Qatari government appreciated the increase in spending on this base.
Qatar is one of the main allies of the United States in the region, so that the United States is called a “non-NATO ally” that has strategic relations with its military. The country refers to Qatar.
