According to a Fars news reporter in Bishkek, “Daniar Amangeldeev”, Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, addressed the people of this country and asked them to treat tourists with respect.
Amangeldeev said: I decided to present an important message regarding the tourism sector of our country. We all know that the tourism sector has grown a lot in developed countries. Let’s consider Turkey or Dubai. About 40 million tourists come to Türkiye every year. Calculate how much money the country’s treasury earns from this tourism industry.
The Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan continued: If we consider “Dubai”, the local population is about three million people, but The number of tourists exceeds 15 million, including Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Filipinos. Due to the friendly attitude of local people, many tourists flock to Dubai. For this reason, the tourism industry develops rapidly.
Amangeldif said: But what about us? When we see a group of Indian or Pakistani students or other tourists, we start criticizing them. If it continues like this, how will our tourism sector develop and how will foreigners who understand such complaints come to our country?! Unfortunately, this situation is very sad.
He noted: For an informed person, every student or every tourist is a direct investor. We should know that their stay and travel means earning money for us. When we see tourists, we should treat them with joy and respect.
We should understand that they will not stay in our land forever. We should know that the money left over from every tourist is spent for the development of the tourism sector of our country. When we change our behavior with tourists, the tourism industry will move forward.
The Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan added: All developing countries wish for many tourists to come to their country. They are trying to provide all conditions for this. Because they know very well how tourism can benefit them and their country.
Emangeldif also stated: Let’s treat foreign students and tourists from other countries with respect. When tourism in Kyrgyzstan expands and develops, tourists will be attracted to the wonderful places we are proud of. Tourism in Kyrgyzstan is taking steps towards development. Let us all play our part in the development of tourism in Kyrgyzstan!
