Uzbekistan’s determination to build defense equipment and develop the armed forces

According to a Fars news reporter, a meeting was held in Tashkent to examine the issues of defense equipment construction and the development of the armed forces of Uzbekistan under the chairmanship of the country’s president Shaukat Mirzayev.

In this meeting, increasing the combat readiness and combat power of the forces, equipping them with modern weapons and military equipment, modernizing the existing weapons, training the military-patriotic forces of the country’s youth, as well as social security of the soldiers, family members and veterans of the armed forces were examined.

In this meeting, the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan presented reports on the measures taken to improve the effectiveness of combat and moral-psychological training of the troops, the activities of management organizations, units and units, as well as institutions. provided higher military education to the president.

According to this report, special attention has been paid to military-patriotic education of youth. Among other things, more than 24,000 ceremonies were held in the neighborhoods and more than 5,000 young people were invited to “Courage Schools” training camps.

Also, more than 580 combat training courses were held. in which more than 35,000 armed forces soldiers participated, social support for soldiers and their family members has been strengthened. military personnel, their morale and mental preparation have increased significantly.

A new method of training military personnel based on advanced technologies was used in the activities of military universities.

In addition, special attention was paid to the digitalization of the military sphere. Step by step, modern systems of automatic management of forces are implemented, and the communication system is also evolving.

In this meeting, the importance of continuing the work to equip the national army with modern military-technical weapons and equipment as well as The evolution of the defense-industrial complex was emphasized.

In addition, the organization and holding of high-level ceremonies on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the formation of the armed forces and the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, which will be held on January 14 , was examined.
