According to the foreign policy group of Fars news agency, Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabri strongly condemned the terrorist act in Kerman city today (Friday), January 15, in a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka expressed the sympathy and sorrow of the government and people of Sri Lanka with the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the terrorist attack on Wednesday in the city of Kerman.
He further referred to the statement issued by the president of this country strongly condemning this terrorist incident and added: We stand by the government and people of Iran.
In this telephone conversation, Amir Abdollahian appreciated the sympathy expressed by the President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka.
The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized the necessity and seriousness of the international community to fight and act against terrorism.
The head of the diplomatic service also explained the details of how this terrorist crime happened and added: Our security forces are investigating the details and completing the information about the commanders and perpetrators.
