Ismail Haniyeh: Islamic countries should give weapons

According to the report of the international group of Fars news agency, Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, said today (Tuesday) in a speech at the conference of the World Muslim Scholars Alliance in Doha that the battle of Gaza is not the only battle of the Palestinians, but the battle of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the Al Jazeera website, Ismail Haniyeh said: “The Islamic Ummah and its scholars play a very big role in supporting the resistance, we see that the countries of the world are sending planes and ships to the occupying regime. They send weapons; Now is the time to support armed resistance; Because this battle is not for the Palestinians, but the battle of al-Aqsa Mosque.” The head of the Hamas political office added: “Israel set three goals in Gaza, the destruction of the resistance, the return of the prisoners, and the displacement of the people. Gaza to Egypt; But despite the heavy cost and the crimes and genocide, none of his goals have been achieved, and his losses and deaths on the battlefield are more than what he declares”. He said that after nearly 100 days of war, bombing and spy drones, the occupying army has not been able to return a single prisoner and the release of Israeli prisoners is only possible with the release of all Palestinian prisoners.

Haniyeh also said about the occupation’s goal of displacing the people of Gaza: “This goal is due to the steadfastness of our people. And their continued presence in Gaza led to failure, because the people of Gaza who were stuck outside Gaza returned, and the current residents are standing firmly in their place.” He also mentioned the struggle of Palestinian youths in the West Bank and said that dangerous things are happening in this area and so far more than 350 Palestinians in the West Bank have been rescued since the beginning of the Battle of al-Aqsa.

Ismail Haniyeh had previously said that Israel is entering the third phase of the war in Gaza and that it will lose against the Palestinian fighters.
