According to the statement The railway department of the current government of Afghanistan will provide land to Turkmenistan to start the practical work of building sheds and new sub-lines on the transit route of the “Herat-Turgandi” crossing.
This statement states that a committee has been sent to Herat province in western Afghanistan to identify lands.
Rashid Muradov, the foreign minister of Turkmenistan, has already called for the formulation of a joint strategy for the development of trade between the two sides during his visit to Herat.
On his trip to “Torghandi” in the north of Herat, he visited the construction of the Afghanistan-Turkmenistan railway line.
