In these attacks, some were killed and some were injured.
In this regard, I would like to state the following:
1. The government of the Republic of Iraq emphasizes that this attack is a dangerous and unacceptable escalation and a violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Iraq, which is the security of Iraq. and weakens the region and damages bilateral relations.
2. Any pretext that this attack was to maintain the safety and security of US forces in Iraq has no solid legal basis. The forces of the international coalition, including the forces of the United States, are present in the territory of the Republic of Iraq at the request of the government of the Republic of Iraq to provide support, advice, training and rehabilitation to the armed forces of Iraq.
3. The strategic relations between the Republic of Iraq and the United States of America are within the framework of the strategic agreement between the two countries. Military cooperation is carried out in the framework of the international coalition to deal with ISIS terrorist groups. The military actions carried out on the territory of Iraq must be done with consultation and coordination between the two countries. 4. Designing and implementing government policies, maintaining order and stability, and being accountable for any action that is outside the legal framework. occurs, it is exclusively the responsibility of the Iraqi government, which is committed to taking measures to hold the perpetrators of such acts accountable. The government of the Republic of Iraq condemns any attack that violates Iraqi sovereignty and international law. It affirms its full commitment to the principles enshrined in the 2005 Constitution of the Republic of Iraq, including that Iraq should not be an arena for settlement. What Iraq wants is to establish and strengthen international relations based on common interests and mutual respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries.
