Again insulting the Zionist official to the United Nations
During a speech on Tuesday, the representative of the Zionist regime described the United Nations as a drunken man who is looking for the truth in the wrong place. |
According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, Gilad Erdan, the representative of the Zionist regime in the United Nations, compared the United Nations to a drunken man who is looking for the truth in the wrong place during a meeting in this international organization on Tuesday. .
He went on to say: “A request for a ceasefire in Gaza means a green light for all terrorists in the world to commit more crimes.”
Erdan pointed to South Africa’s action in suing the Zionist regime in the International Court of Justice and said: “The complaint that South Africa raised is not based on reality and there are who seek to kill Jews again”.
The “International Court of Justice” is scheduled to hold the first hearing on Thursday to deal with South Africa’s complaint against Israel for the genocide in Gaza.
A few weeks ago, South Africa filed a petition with this court based in The Hague, demanding to investigate Israel’s charge of committing genocide in the Gaza war.
In this 84-page complaint, South Africa states that Israel has violated the provisions of the “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide”.
Both Israel and South Africa are among the signatories of this convention, which authorizes the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice as the highest legal authority of the United Nations to deal with disputes.
All the parties who signed this treaty have pledged not to commit genocide and to prevent and punish it by other parties. Genocide is defined in this treaty as “committing acts with the intention of destroying, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group”.
South Africa supports this complaint from all countries that criticize Israel’s operation in Gaza and hold this regime accountable for killing Palestinians.
