Survey 99% of Lebanese want Arab countries to cut ties with Israel

This think tank, without referring to the statistics of the results of this survey, also showed that the majority of Lebanese agreed with the option that “Israel is weak enough and has many factions that it can be defeated one day”.
In this survey, 54 percent of Lebanese Christians said that the current war in Gaza should be considered a victory for Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims, despite the destruction and loss of civilian lives.
Another part of this survey deals with the popularity of Lebanon’s Hezbollah. According to the Washington think tank, the popularity of Hezbollah varies greatly according to religious spectrums. While 34% of Sunnis and 24% of Christians said that their opinions about Hezbollah are somewhat positive, this figure is 93% for Shiites. Among them, 89 percent of Shiites said that their opinion is “very positive” towards Hezbollah.
Participants expressed different opinions about supporting Hamas. The most support for Hamas has been among the Shiites. The Washington think tank said that 79% of Lebanese have a positive opinion about Hamas. There are more differences of opinion among the Lebanese Christian community. 59% of Christians said they had a positive opinion of Hamas, while 39% had a negative opinion.
While in the Persian Gulf countries, the majority of people believe that the United States can still play a role in resolving conflicts in the Palestinian issue, in Lebanese society, fewer people agree with this. They have agreed to the proposition. In a poll by the Washington Institute, 71 percent of participants agreed with the option that “the United States is still in the best position to help end the war in Gaza.”
