Lebanon’s renewed complaint against Israel to the Security Council

According to the international group Tasnim news agency, while the Zionist regime in a ridiculous and brazen action from Lebanon has complained to the Security Council for allegedly violating Resolution 1701, “Abdullah Bouhabib, the Foreign Minister of the interim government of Lebanon, ordered the country’s representative to the United Nations to submit a complaint against this regime to the Security Council in response to this brazen Israeli complaint.

Lebanon’s aggressive actions by Israeli forces against Lebanon 7 October 2023 condemns the start of the Gaza war and we have reliable evidence of Israel’s violation of Resolution 1701 and distortion of the facts. These continuous and open Israeli aggressions have led to the displacement of 75 thousand residents of southern Lebanon. Considering Israel’s countless aggressions in southern Lebanon, the repeated requests of this regime for the Lebanese government to control the areas near the blue line and to carry out the mission of UNIFIL forces (the so-called UN peacekeeping forces based in Lebanon), while the Israeli army last month in the center attached to the Lebanese army directly targeted and led to the martyrdom of one of the Lebanese forces, it is very surprising!
Lebanon insists on its consistent policies on the right to defend the country and is trying to assert its rights. with legitimate means, including referring to the United Nations. As we have emphasized many times, we insist on the full implementation of Resolution 1701.
Lebanon once again asks the UN Security Council to fully implement Resolution 1701 with the necessary international guarantees. Also, Israel must stop all its aggressions in Land, air and sea to stop the sovereignty of Lebanon. Also, Israel has no right to use Lebanon’s airspace to invade other countries, including Syria.
