China’s request to America not to interfere in Taiwan

According to the report of the Fars News Agency International Group, “Mao Ning”, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, warned the US to end official communication with Taiwan and also to end its interference in the island’s elections.

Mao said during a daily press conference on Wednesday: “China has always been strongly opposed to any formal interactions between the US and Taiwan.” The members of the US Congress should also follow the principle of one China and recognize the clauses of the US-China joint memoranda.” According to the Sputnik news agency, he explained: ” They (the Americans) should take measured measures regarding the Taiwan issue, stop official interactions with Taiwan, cut off wrong signals to Taiwan’s separatist forces, and end any form of interference in Taiwan’s elections.”

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry also emphasized that the efforts of Taiwan’s ruling party to achieve independence and separation from China with the help of the United States are doomed to failure.

Before this ministry Taiwan’s foreign ministry said that the island’s representative in the United States met with “Mike Johnson”, the speaker of the country’s House of Representatives.
