, the US Geological Survey announced the occurrence of a 6.4-magnitude earthquake in Badakhshan province and announced that the earthquake was also felt in Kabul and some other provinces of Afghanistan.
This earthquake occurred at 1:50 AM today (Thursday, January 21).
According to the published report, This earthquake occurred at a depth of 206.6 km from the ground and its center was “Jerem” city of Badakhshan province.
Two hours before that, another earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 occurred at a depth of 208.1 kilometers in the city of Jerem.
So far, there are no details about the casualties and possible damages left behind.
This earthquake is said to have shaken parts of Pakistan as well.
