According to the statement of public relations of the Iraqi Parliament today (Sunday), al-Mandalawi made these words at the beginning of the parliament session yesterday and said: “The resolution of the House of Representatives about ending the presence of the forces of the international coalition in Iraq is a principled and stable decision that has been accepted by the people and government of Iraq.” Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the martyred vice president of Al-Hashd al-Shaabi Organization of Iraq, by approving a resolution, the government of this country had required to remove foreign forces from Iraq and cancel the security agreement with the United States.
Deputy President In the continuation of his speech, the Iraqi Parliament also asked the Prime Minister of this country to implement this resolution and develop the capacities and abilities of the Iraqi security forces to fight against terrorist groups. The Prime Minister of Iraq said in an interview with “Reuters” news agency a few days ago that Iraq is trying to withdraw the forces of the international coalition from the country in a fast and organized manner.
This interview called the presence of American forces in Iraq destabilizing in the current war situation in the Gaza Strip; However, he did not mention the time of the withdrawal of the American forces from Iraq.
Despite the Iraqi Parliament’s resolution regarding the withdrawal of all foreign forces from the country’s territory, the United States has always claimed that the Iraqi government is one of the country’s forces. In particular, American advisory forces have requested to stay in this country to train and advise the Iraqi military.
American forces have been repeatedly attacked by the Islamic resistance of Iraq in the past weeks. The Iraqi resistance, which carried out these attacks in support of the Palestinian people, considers America to be the main responsible for the Israeli regime’s attacks on Gaza.
