According to Fars News Agency International Group, Australian Foreign Minister “Penny Wang” on Monday during his trip to the Middle East, which includes visiting the occupied West Bank and meeting with the families of the prisoners of the Zionist regime. demanded the establishment of a “sustainable and immediate ceasefire” in the Gaza Strip.
According to “Reuters” Wang said that from his trip to Jordan, the Zionist regime, He will use the West Bank and the United Arab Emirates to reach a solution in the field of exiting the current conflict and lasting peace between Hamas and the Zionist regime.
He said in this regard Australia is using its voice to push for more humanitarian aid to protect Palestinian civilians and reduce regional tensions. Before starting his trip to the Middle East, he stated during a news conference: Our position is that we want a stable and permanent ceasefire to be established and we see the establishment of an immediate and humanitarian ceasefire as a step towards realizing our wish.
In his statements, he emphasized these two points that no ceasefire can be one-sided or unconditional. The positions of the Foreign Minister of Australia were raised while this country supported the UN resolution for a cease-fire in Gaza in December and in a rare move rejected the American position of opposing the establishment of a cease-fire.
