According to the official news agency of Iraq (wa), while denying the published news about the arrival of new troops in Iraq, Tahsin al-Khafaji said that Iraq has no need for foreign forces and the presence of international coalition forces in Iraq is limited to training and advising the Iraqi military.
The CBC network claimed in its report that the military group to be sent to Iraq includes 1,500 soldiers from the National Guard of New Jersey, who will be integrated into the international coalition known as the anti-ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
In response to this report, the head of Iraq’s security information headquarters also pointed out that the start of the joint committee of Iraq and the international coalition is near, and one of its plans is the timing for the withdrawal of the coalition from Iraq and review The general shape of this military group’s relations with the Iraqi side.
