According to Centcom, earlier the US forces fired an anti-ship ballistic missile towards the south of the Red Sea.
The Embry Maritime Security Company also claimed that the Yemeni army fired 3 missiles at the American ship, one of which hit the ship.
Previously The British company Marine Trade Operations had received a report of an incident 175 km southeast of the Gulf of Aden in Yemen.
The company announced that a ship was hit from above by a missile.
