It is stated in this letter: The Islamic Republic of Iran, as one of the main victims of terrorism, in the implementation of its inherent right to defend itself based on international laws and the United Nations Charter, has carried out anti-terrorist operations. Did. This operation includes targeted attacks against bases and facilities of terrorist groups based in Syria and Iraq.
This letter adds: In the early hours of January 16, 2024, the anti-terrorist operation simultaneously fired several ballistic missiles, precisely the facilities of ISIS and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, two known terrorist organizations, in Idlib and the region. It was done under their occupation in the northeast of the Syrian Arab Republic. In addition, a spy center used by anti-Iranian terrorist groups linked to the Israeli regime was targeted in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. This center has been used as a base for intelligence and subversive operations in Iran.
