According to the international group Tasnim News Agency, the Syrian newspaper “Al-Watan” announced that the Saudi Embassy will soon It will be opened in Damascus and preparations will be made in the coming days.
This Syrian media reported that until the appointment of the official ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Syria, a chargé d’affaires will take charge of this embassy.
An Arab diplomatic source in Damascus told Al-Watan newspaper that the appointment of the Saudi ambassador to Syria will not take long. The Saudi foreign ministry emphasized on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields and within the framework of common interests.
