France provides Ukraine with hundreds of bombs and missiles

According to the Fars News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday that France is going to provide Ukraine with a new round of weapons. According to the website “Aero Times” it includes 40 long-range Scallop missiles and hundreds of bombs.
Both France and England offered these cruise missiles to Ukraine in the summer of 2023. Since then, these missiles have been used to target several strategic targets, including the Chonhar Bridge, which connects Crimea to Russian-controlled parts of the Kherson region.
Macron revealed that France is in the final stages of negotiating a security agreement with Ukraine. This decision follows a similar agreement in the field of security cooperation between Ukraine and the UK. includes “comprehensive assistance for the protection and restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders, active deterrence against Russia and support for Ukraine’s future integration into the European Union”.
