According to the foreign policy group of Fars news agency, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, who is in Davos, Switzerland, in continuation of his consultations with the participating officials, today (Wednesday, January 27) with “Borgeh Barande”, the president of the World Forum Economy met and discussed on the sidelines of this summit.
In this meeting, global and regional developments as well as interactions between FIMAs were discussed and exchanged.
In this meeting, Amir Abdullahian, while thanking Borge Bahand for the invitation to participate in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, mentioned some initiatives and common fields of cooperation in the fields of economy and energy security.
He also explained the developments in Gaza and the crimes of the Zionist regime and America’s support for it, and emphasized Iran’s support for the efforts to prevent the expansion of the scope of the war and the return of stability and peace to the region.
Amir Abdullahian also discussed Iran’s efforts to resolve some concerns in the region and the world, including Iran’s efforts to create mechanisms to ensure energy security, and invited the World Economic Forum to participate in these efforts. .
Boregh Barand also thanked the presence of the Iranian Foreign Minister at the Davos meeting and said that all efforts should be aimed at preventing the spread of the Gaza crisis.
While pointing out the importance of Iran as an important actor in regional and global arrangements, he announced his and his colleagues’ readiness to explore ways of cooperation in the field of energy security.
