Zelensky: The Chinese Prime Minister is not at my level, I am talking to Xi
After the reports that the request of the President of Ukraine to meet with the Premier of China on the sidelines of the Davos summit was rejected, Zelenskiy denied these reports and said that he is only talking to the decision maker in China. |
According to the Fars News Agency International Group, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed on Wednesday that he did not actually seek to meet with Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the World Economic Forum in Davos. His comments came after media reports that a senior Chinese official had rejected Zelensky’s request to meet at the event.
According to Rasha Today, Zelensky stated that Prime Minister Li is not the decision-maker in China, explaining that “the Premier of China is — so the Prime Minister (of Ukraine) is with him.” will meet I would like to meet the leader of China. As far as I know [in China] Xi Jinping is the decision maker and in Ukraine I make the decision. I don’t need any dialogue; I need the important decisions of the leaders who are the decision-makers”. The assembly should meet, but the Chinese side has rejected this request. So far, Beijing has not commented on the prospect of any meeting with the Ukrainian leadership or in response to Zelensky’s statements. It is necessary to negotiate with China to advance the “Kiev Peace Plan”.
According to Rasha Today, this plan, which has been promoted by the Zelenskyi government among Ukrainian partners for about a year, actually calls for the surrender of Russia; Moscow called this plan absurd and rejected it as a propaganda trick of Kiev.
