Netanyahu: I am against the creation of a Palestinian state after the Gaza war
The Prime Minister of Israel said on Thursday that he has informed the White House of his opposition to the two-state solution. |
According to the report of Fars News Agency, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, once again emphasized on Thursday that he is against the creation of a Palestinian state after the end of the Gaza war.
Netanyahu has long been a staunch opponent of the establishment of a Palestinian state, although he has at times verbally supported this idea.
Despite this, his statements on Thursday are considered to be his strongest opposition to the two-state solution, in the context that the debate on this solution has been raised again by some Arab countries after the Gaza war.
The White House responded to Netanyahu’s statements and said that Washington will continue efforts to realize this solution.
John Kirby, the spokesman for the National Security Council of the White House, said to reporters on the US President’s plane after Netanyahu’s speech: “There will be no occupation of Gaza after the end of the war.”
In another development, shortly after the Israeli Prime Minister’s speech, the countries of Mexico and Chile announced that they had handed over Israel’s actions in the occupied Palestinian territories to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to deal with the charge of “war crimes”.
Mexico’s foreign ministry said it took this step due to growing concerns about the escalation of violence and rising civilian casualties.
In a televised news conference, Netanyahu also said that Israel’s war in Gaza will continue until a decisive victory against Hamas is achieved.
The Prime Minister of Israel said: “In any future arrangement… it is necessary for Israel to have security control over all the lands west of the Jordan River.” This contradicts the idea of national sovereignty. What can we do?”
Netanyahu, whose political support has been declining since the October 7 attack by Hamas, linked his political life to the life of Israel.
He said: “The day after Netanyahu will be the end day for most Israeli citizens.” For 30 years, I have always said one thing: this conflict is not over the absence of a country, but over the existence of a country.”
If we go out, terror and terror will be ours. This happened in the south of Lebanon, it happened in the Gaza Strip and it happened in the West Bank.” Our friends should say no.”
American officials in public statements claim that they want Israel to reduce the intensity of attacks in Gaza.
Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas on October 7th (15th of Mehr) in response to more than seven decades of occupation of Palestine and nearly two decades of siege of Gaza and imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians called operation It started the “Al-Aqsa Storm”.
This operation was one of the deadliest attacks against this regime. Hamas fighters penetrated into the occupied territories at several points of the border fences, attacked villages and besides killing a large number of Israelis, captured a number of them.
Zionist regime In response to this operation, it launched heavy attacks against Gaza and placed this area under a complete siege. Despite this, as analysts say, the al-Aqsa operation has imposed a major security-political defeat on Israel.
Israeli regime officials have declared their military goal in this war to destroy Hamas. Meanwhile, many analysts have questioned the possibility of realizing this goal, even in occupied Palestine. /p>
