Pentagon: We are not looking for a conflict with the Yemenis

According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, the spokesperson of the US Ministry of Defense emphasized in a press conference on Thursday evening (Tehran time) that Washington is not looking for a conflict with Yemen’s Ansarullah.
The Pentagon spokesman said: “We are not looking for a conflict with Iran or the Houthis (members of Ansarullah) and our goal is to ensure the safety of maritime traffic.”
An hour earlier, US President Joe Biden, despite admitting the ineffectiveness of his country’s attacks against Ansarullah in Yemen, said that these attacks will continue.
A reporter asked Biden: “Are the attacks against the Houthis in Are Yemen efficient?”
The US president responded: “When you say they are effective [the question arises] are they stopping the Houthis?” No! But will they continue? Yes.”
On Thursday morning, America and England carried out their fourth round of attacks against Ansarullah positions in Yemen. Several cities and different regions of Yemen were attacked by warships of the American and British navy.
The “Al-Masira” network reported about the details of this operation that the American-British attacks started from Hodeidah and Dhammar provinces and then spread to Saada, Taiz and Al-Bayda provinces.
Before that, Brigadier Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, said that the country’s navy attacked an American ship in the Gulf of Aden with a number of missiles and accurately hit it.

These attacks started last week. On the first day of the attack, which took place early last Friday, the United States claimed to have targeted training sites, air bases and drone maintenance facilities belonging to Yemen’s Ansarullah.
Immediately after that attack, Yemeni Ansarullah forces announced that they are firing ballistic missiles towards enemy positions in the waters.
