Kremlin: Diplomatic contacts regarding the tension between Iran and Pakistan continue

According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Russian Federation Presidency, said today (Friday) that Moscow is conducting diplomatic contacts regarding the tension between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan.
Pskov explained during a press conference in the Kremlin: “The tension between Iran and Pakistan is partially caused by the conflict in Gaza, which, of course, Russia is worried about its expansion.”
According to the Sputnik news agency, he added: “There are signs of the Gaza conflict spreading to the Middle East region. Moscow asks all the parties involved in Gaza to exercise restraint and turn to diplomacy.”
The Kremlin spokesman mentioned the war in Ukraine in another part of his speech and said: “A large number of foreign mercenaries. They are fighting alongside the Ukrainian army and this is confirmed every time”. It is not for the resumption of Russia’s participation in it.
Kremlin spokesman had previously rejected any negotiations with Ukraine based on the peace formula proposed by the Kiev regime. (more details)
