Faisal Bin Farhan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, called for cooperation with Iran to prevent the escalation of tensions in the region, according to the report of Fars News Agency.
Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister said in an interview with MSNBC: “The region is currently in turmoil and we are facing a humanitarian disaster in Gaza.” These tensions should not become more widespread.”
He went on to say: “Our message to everyone, including Iran, is that we need to work together to stop tensions.”
