Riyadh: The increase in tensions between America and Yemen is dangerous for the region
On Sunday morning, Saudi Arabia's foreign minister, while calling on the parties involved in the Red Sea to reduce tension, emphasized the importance of maintaining the security and stability of the West Asian region. |
According to the report of Fars International News Agency, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister “Faisal bin Farhan” on Sunday morning announced Riyadh’s grave concern about the tensions in the Red Sea, the operations of the Yemeni army against Zionist ships and the US attacks on this country. .
Benfarhan explained in a part of the interview with Farid Zakaria, anchor of the CNN network: “We invite everyone to reduce the tension. Of course, we believe in freedom of navigation. But we also believe in maintaining the security and stability of the region. We are very worried. You know that we are in a very difficult situation and it is a very dangerous time for the region.
America and England had previously attacked the positions of the Yemeni army in different parts of this country, and the Yemeni armed forces responded to these attacks by attacking American vessels.
The American and British attacks on Yemen began after the Yemeni army, in support of the Palestinian people, did not allow Israeli ships to pass through the Bab al-Mandab strait and the Red Sea.
Muhammad Abdussalam, the spokesman of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, emphasized in an interview with Reuters news agency on Friday that Yemen’s response to the US attacks will continue.
