According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Mohammed Sadiq Achakzai, the spokesperson of the sit-ins in Chaman region in Pakistan, told the media that the government and military authorities of this country did not pay attention to their demands.
If it continues, they will start a hunger strike soon.
Achkezi said that now the sit-in in Chaman area will be 100 days and there will be a big demonstration because No one listens to our words.
One of the sit-ins in Chaman stated that the blocking of the Chaman border crossing has harmed people and business owners on both sides of the border.
According to reports, hundreds of people have been protesting since October 21, since the interim government of Pakistan made it mandatory to have passports and visas to travel to Afghanistan.
Before this, Pakistanis with ID cards and Afghans with Afghan ID cards could travel on both sides of Chaman border crossing.
The interim government of Pakistan and the state government of Balochistan have not commented yet, but they had previously rejected any request to cancel passports and visas.
In addition to the Chamani crossing, Pakistan has imposed similar conditions in Torkham, Ghulam Khan and Angur Ade areas this week.
Taliban government has also stopped trucks carrying Pakistani goods in a countermeasure.
