According to the regional office Tasnim news agency, World Organization Health announced the signing of a project worth 6.9 million dollars with the Japan Cooperation Organization (JICA) in the field of supporting Afghanistan’s health sector in the fight against infectious diseases.
This contract in The process of the visit of “Lu Dapeng”, the representative of the World Health Organization in Afghanistan to Japan, was signed.
The announcement of the World Health Organization states that the purpose of implementing the project is to deal with diseases It is contagious and reducing the impact of these diseases on the people of Afghanistan, and 76 thousand people will benefit from this project. Focuses on infectious diseases in Kabul and two health centers dedicated to treating infectious diseases.
“Kiyoshi Amada”, JICA’s senior representative, expressed hope that this project will keep Afghan citizens, including mothers, children and others, healthier and save their lives.
The World Health Organization added that the organization’s delegation has also met and discussed with the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the ambassador of this country in Afghanistan.
