Moscow: The American plan to create an anti-Russian axis in Ukraine failed
Russia's deputy foreign minister warned that remaining agreements with the United States could be canceled due to its destructive anti-Russian policy, saying there was no basis for joint political action. |
According to Fars International News Agency, “Sergei Ryabkov”, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, said today (Monday) that the American plan to create an anti-Russian axis through Ukraine failed.
Ryabkov said in an interview with “Ryanovsky” network that Russia is not interested in joining the American idea of forming a warning system in the event of ballistic missile launches by the world’s five nuclear powers.
He explained about this: “There has been no negotiation among the five nuclear powers of the world on this issue. This idea is only from the American side and there is no consensus on it. Regarding Russia’s position, I must say that the implementation of such a plan has no added value.” According to this report, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia further warned that the few remaining agreements between Washington and Moscow may in line with America’s destructive anti-Russian policy.
Ryabkov stated: “In relations with America, we have reached a situation where there is no basis for coordination or joint political actions, especially in the field of security. Does not exist. In the issue of the complete combined war that Washington has launched against us, such actions do not seem appropriate or justified.” He described the relationship between Russia and the United States as a sensitive issue and said that such exchanges require silence, which has proven effective in the past.
The West had warned that in case of confiscation of this country’s property, Moscow does not rule out the option of countermeasures. (more details)
