Seoul: North Korea fired several cruise missiles

According to the Fars News Agency International Group, the Joint Headquarters of the South Korean Army announced in a statement that the country’s army detected several Pyongyang cruise missiles around 07:00 this morning.

According to the “UPI” report, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff claimed that the joint intelligence units of South Korea and the United States of America are analyzing the exact specifications of these missiles.

“Our military has increased surveillance and vigilance and is working closely with the United States to monitor for further signs of North Korean activity,” according to the statement.

North Korea announced on Friday last week that it had tested its underwater nuclear weapons system in protest of joint military exercises by South Korea, the United States and Japan in the region.
