Gantz: The war in Gaza is for the survival of Israel

According to the Fars News Agency International Group, Benny Gantz, a member of the Israeli War Cabinet, said on Tuesday that the regime is fighting for its survival and is more determined and resistant.
He continued his speech and said: “Returning the abductees is the duty of the cabinet and it has no conflict with defeating Hamas in Gaza, and we will continue the war with the aim of returning the abductees to their homes.”
Gantz added: “If there are real plans, we are able to make tough decisions.” According to the Zionist army’s admission, at least 24 Israeli soldiers were killed, and they admitted that it is not possible to “realize a great and decisive victory” against Hamas and release Israeli prisoners with the continuation of military operations.
Haaretz newspaper wrote in its editorial today that Hamas does not even “feel defeated” and Israel’s proposal for a two-month ceasefire and the deportation of its senior officials from Gaza to other countries in exchange for freedom. He rejected the hostages.
This newspaper further cited the interview of the Minister of War “Gadi Eisenkot” who rejected any possibility of releasing the hostages through military action and emphasized that “the possibility of returning the hostages without achieving A [prisoner exchange] deal is impossible in the near future,” and anyone who says otherwise is “lying.”
