According to the foreign policy group of Fars News Agency, the 11th round of political consultations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Norway was held on Wednesday 4th of Bahman 1402 under the chairmanship of Ali Bagheri, Political Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Andreas Kravik, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway. It was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran.
Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and Norway’s Minister of Foreign Affairs “Spenbart Eid” on Thursday night, 21st of January, in a phone call about the continuation of contacts, consultation and exchange of political views on issues of interest to the two countries. They understood. The foreign ministers of Iran and Norway also met on January 26 on the sidelines of the Davos meeting in Switzerland and discussed bilateral relations. Yemen and the Middle East were also present, while reviewing the latest state of bilateral relations, the two sides consulted and exchanged views on regional and international developments, including the ongoing disasters in Gaza, the situation in Afghanistan, developments in the Red Sea, ways to promote human rights and the rule of international law. .
The tenth round of Iran-Norway political consultations was held in June 1401 during Ali Bagheri’s trip to Oslo. At the end of the 10th round of political consultations between Iran and Norway, the memorandum of understanding for political consultations between Iran and Norway was signed by the parties, and a variety of bilateral, regional and international issues were discussed and exchanged.
