He wrote on the X social network (former Twitter) that in this meeting the parties discussed the situation in Gaza and while condemning “Mass genocide” in this region, emphasized the need to intensify global efforts to pressure America and Israel to stop the war. Abdul Salam added: “Regarding Yemen’s position of support for Gaza and the attack America and England spoke to Yemen in support of Israel, and in this meeting, the latest developments related to negotiations with Saudi Arabia, mediated by Oman, were also discussed”.

In a statement announcing this meeting, he said that during the visit of the Yemeni delegation, the situation in the Red Sea was discussed and especially the “sad events” in Palestine were discussed.
