According to a Fars news agency reporter in Astana, the Kazakh government plans to launch 180 industrial projects this year worth $3.3 billion (1.5 trillion tenge).
Kanat Charlapaf, Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan, announced at the meeting of the Council of Domestic Entrepreneurs of this country: last year, 170 manufacturing industry projects worth 930 billion tenge were launched in this country, and another 180 projects worth 1.5 Trillion tenge is planned this year.
He noted: At the end of 11 months of last year, the foreign trade turnover of the manufacturing industry reached 74.2 billion dollars, which is an increase of 12%.
In the past year, 179 long-term contracts and off-harvest contracts worth 66 billion tenge were concluded between large customers and Kazakh producers, the Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan stated. In addition, to meet their needs, large companies (“Kazakhmis”, “ERG”, “Kazetsink”, etc.) are creating a belt of small and medium-sized businesses around them.
He added: The activity of special economic and industrial zones is improving.
Sharlapuf said: In the production industry, 170 projects worth 930 billion tenge were launched at the end of last year and more than 12 thousand permanent jobs were created. In particular, the production of import-related goods such as paints and varnishes, fittings, work clothes, medical furniture, thermal insulation materials, elevators, etc. has been created.
Minister of Industry and Construction Kazakhstan announced: 180 projects worth 1.5 trillion tenge with the creation of more than 18 thousand jobs are planned this year, which include the construction of a ferroalloy factory in Pavlodar region, the production of truck parts using cast iron in Kostanay region, a blacksmith complex. and bonding in Pavlodar region, factories producing household appliances in Almaty region, and factories producing parts for wind power plants in Karaganda region are among them.
